  1. How can I nominate someone for the Administrative Excellence Award?

    You may nominate someone online by visiting the Nominate section of this website. Organizations and individuals may nominate as many administrative professionals as they choose. Within the nomination form, there are examples provided of previous nominations from past award finalists. When writing a nomination, you have the ability to save the nomination form and prepare your entries at your leisure and then copy and paste into the online nomination form.

  2. When is the deadline to submit a nomination?
    The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 30, 2010, 11:59 p.m. PST.

  3. What are the rules for nomination?

    The nomination form includes rules that will be considered when the nominee    ’s application is reviewed. The winner will be chosen based on demonstrated excellence in the following categories:
    • Commitment to continuing professional development
    • Ability to contribute to the operational efficiency of the company
    • Commitment to leadership within the organization
    • Meaningful contributions to the organization

  4. Who will be judging the entries?

    A distinguished selection committee will review each entry for the Administrative Excellence Award.

  5. How many winners will be selected?

    One overall winner will be awarded and two runners-up will be named.

  6. When will the award be presented?

    The award will be presented to the winner during the IAAP International Education Forum and Annual Meeting on July 18-21, 2010 in Boston, MA.

  7. What will the award recipient receive?

    The 2010 Administrative Excellence Award winner will receive the following prizes, provided by OfficeTeam, IAAP, CareerBuilder.com, MeasureUp, OfficeArrow and SkillSoft.
    • Subject to the terms and conditions of this nomination, the winning nominee may receive the following items:
      • Round-trip coach airline ticket from a major commercial airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsors at their sole discretion) to Boston, MA, to attend the International Association of Administrative Professionals International Education Forum and Annual Meeting on July 18-21, 2010.
      • Five-night hotel accommodations (room rate only), as determined by Sponsors, in Boston, MA, to attend the International Association of Administrative Professionals International Convention and Education Forum and Annual Meeting on July 18-21, 2010.
      • Registration to attend the International Association of Administrative Professionals International Education Forum and Annual Meeting on July 18-21, 2010.

      • A one-year national membership to the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

      • $500 American Express gift card.
      • Registration to one of the following events (must choose only one):
        a.) 2010 International Association of Administrative Professionals Certification Conference in October 2010
        or
        b.) 2011 International Association of Administrative Professionals Professional Education Conference in March 2011
    • The runners-up will receive a leather-bound personalized certificate, $250 American Express gift card, a one-year Bronze Membership to OfficeArrow, training and preparation toward Microsoft Office 2007 Business Certification, and recognition in their local market if they reside in a location where we have an OfficeTeam office.
    • Prizes are nontransferable and no substitutions are allowed, except by the Supporters, who reserve the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable.
