is the Annual Briefing for Administrative Professionals?
The Annual Briefing is a live, interactive training event for administrative professionals held each year during Administrative Professionals Week. It is the only live satellite training event devoted to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of administrative professionals. The event will be broadcast live before a studio audience in Oakland April 22, 2008, from 1-3 p.m. EST, and can be viewed via satellite, video conference and the Web.

Briefing will feature:
- A keynote address by Tim Sanders, author of The Likeability Factor
- Welcome address by the president of the International Association of Administrative Professionals
- The presentation of the Administrative Excellence Award by Dave Willmer, executive director of OfficeTeam

How many winners will be selected?
One overall winner will be awarded and the top three runners-up will be named.

are the rules for nomination?
The nomination form includes
rules that will be considered when the nominee's
application is reviewed. The winner will be chosen
based on demonstrated excellence in the following
categories:

to leadership within the organization
- Meaningful
contributions to the organization

will the award recipient receive?
The 2008 Administrative Excellence Award winner will receive the following prizes, provided by OfficeTeam, IAAP, SkillSoft, Microsoft Learning, Working Mother Magazine, CareerBuilder.com, MeasureUp and Retirementjobs.com.

Subject to the terms and conditions of this nomination, the winning nominee may receive the following items:
- Round-trip coach airline ticket from a major commercial airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsors at their sole discretion) to Oakland, Calif., to appear at the SkillSoft Annual Briefing for Administrative Professionals program on April 22, 2008.
- One-night hotel accommodation (room rate only), as determined by Sponsors, in Oakland, Calif., to appear at the SkillSoft Annual Briefing for Administrative Professionals program on April 22, 2008.
