Sandy Chandler CPS was born and raised in Suffolk, VA, but moved to Orlando, FL, in 1967. She received her CPS rating in 1988 and recertified in December 2004. In addition, Sandy received her Associates of Science degree in Office Systems Technology at Valencia Community College.

Sandy joined the Orlando Chapter in 1985, and as the saying goes, the rest is history! She served as Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, Vice President, President-Elect, and President, and chaired numerous committees. 

On the Florida Division level, she served as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, President-Elect and President. In 1998, she was recognized as a Distinguished Division President by the association, which is definitely one of the highlights of her IAAP® involvement.

On the International level, Sandy served two years as International Director, Southeast District; two years as International Treasurer, International Vice President, International President-Elect and International President for the 2006-2007 IAAP year.

She has been employed by SunTrust Banks since 1981 and reports to Kelley C. Welden, Vice President, EIS-Banking Services, as an Operations Analyst. 

In her spare time, Sandy enjoys shopping, baking her famous chocolate chip cookies for senior management meetings and IAAP events and spending time with family consisting of husband, Chuck; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Bob; son, Derrick; and adorable red-headed grandson, Zachary Allen.
