Angela Carlson has been with Microsoft Corporation since 1997. She has held positions in product localization, operations and IT product management. Prior to coming to Microsoft, Angela spent three years at Marshall & Sullivan, Registered Investment Advisors as a marketing specialist.
Currently, Angela is the world wide product manager for the Microsoft Business Certification program. The program certifies user’s proficiency with individual Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint®, and the ability to effect business goals using the entire Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Office SharePoint® Server sites. Since the program’s inception in 1997, more than three million students, teachers and business workers speaking 18 languages in 122 countries have earned the Microsoft Office Specialist and Microsoft Certified Application Specialist credentials. Under Carlson’s leadership and direction, Microsoft’s goal is to raise awareness of the program and ensure the availability of certification worldwide.
A graduate of Seattle University, Angela grew up in the Seattle area and lives on the eastside with her husband and new son. Angela is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoys travel, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. |
